Travel That Feels Like an Experience—not Just an Itinerary
You want to see more of the world, but you may not want to navigate every decision alone.
Perhaps you’re ready for something beyond the predictable vacation—without signing up for an extreme adventure or spending every moment following a tour guide. You want to see the landmarks, but you also want to wander the side streets, understand something about the place and return home with stories, memories and photographs that truly mean something.
I help travelers plan experience-led adventures that balance guidance with independence, comfort with curiosity and thoughtful preparation with room for the unexpected.
That might mean discovering a small-group journey, finding a destination that feels a little outside your usual routine or creating an itinerary with the right mix of guided experiences and time to explore on your own. It also means considering the practical details—cost, safety, timing, transportation and what happens when plans change—so you can travel with greater confidence.
My approach isn’t about luxury for luxury’s sake or finding the cheapest possible trip. A comfortable bed and a hot shower matter. So do local experiences, responsible choices and the freedom to notice what wasn’t included in the guidebook.
You don’t have to be fearless to experience more of the world. You simply need the right adventure, thoughtful planning and someone to help you take the next step.
Let’s talk about where you would like to go—and what you hope to experience when you get there.

Coming this fall
Photograph What It Feels Like is not a book about camera settings or perfect technique. It’s about slowing down, paying attention, and experiencing a place before you photograph it. Through stories, simple practices, and a different way of seeing, you’ll learn to create travel photographs that capture more than what a place looked like—they’ll help you remember what it felt like to be there.
